The American Blue cat is another, now unused, name for the Russian Blue cat, or is it? Here's a picture of a Russian Blue - one of the best:

There is a breeder who called her cats "American Blue". Type in "American Blue" into a Google search and see. Are these Russian Blue cats called American Blue cats to make them a little different? Why not? I think she breeds Russian Blues. If not they are her own breed of cat, an unregistered cat breed. American Blue cat to Home page
