Andean Mountain Cat Distribution

Here is a distribution map or range map for the Andean mountain cat. It shows were this species of small wild cat can be found in the high Andes of South America. It's range covers parts of Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

The area has been extended recently by work carried out by Dr Jim Sanderson and his colleagues. The IUCN Red List map shows a smaller area. The map is based on the IUCN Red List map. The map above is the most up to date distribution map for the Andean mountain cat on the Internet. Date 2011.
