Siamese Cats and Feline Diabetes

Linda P. Case in her book The Cat, Its Behavior, Nutrition and Health says on page 350 that "there is some evidence that Siamese and Burmese cats might be at a higher risk for diabetes..."

She qualifies that by saying this figures might be distorted by the popularity of the Siamese cat and therefore more Siamese being treated for the disease.
