184.9 million views and climbing: UK's most popular TikTok video features a white cat

This is the UK's most popular TikTok video and it is all about a cat 👌.

Most popular video in the UK shows agile kitten Mia, who has 2.6 million fans.  She is famed for navigating plastic cup obstacle courses in owner's viral clips. We have to give the humans a lot of credit too for dreaming up the idea for these unique videos and for showing the world how clever and nimble domestic cats are at navigating tricky obstacles with great precision. Their TikTok videos gather an awesome number of views. Even the less popular ones have over 100k views.

Note: This is a video from another website. Sometimes they are deleted at source which stops them working on this site. If that has happened, I apologise but I have no control over it.

Standard domestic cat slides through 3-inch gap under interior door

This looks entirely genuine: a standard sized moggie gets through a 3-inch gap (max) under an interior door. He or she twists onto their side when half way through and seem to compress their rib cage to get under.  It is remarkable. On this page is the video which may stop working as they often do when they are stored on a third-party site (this time TikTok) and three still images (screenshots) of the feat.

Then she turns over half way through:

The last bit, the legs are the easy part!

Bengal Cat Jumping

I can't resist showing you another photo by cat caretakers who really are in harmony with this breed of cat, judging by their photographs. The photographers are: by Nacho y Adriana on Flickr:

Bengal Cat Jumping showing of the athleticism of this cat breed.

The Bengal cat is particularly adept at jumping and running. My neighbor's Bengal cat, Daniel, an F3, runs very fast indeed. They seem to like high places more than other breeds and can get to them more easily!

The athleticism is one big factor that goes to make up this very popular breed of cat.

Bengal Cat Agility

Here is a really nice picture (another one!) of a beautiful purebred Bengal cat with gorgeous rosetted spots showing off his or her movement and agility. I think the shape is nice and the picture hints at a dynamic movement that is synonymous with the Bengal cat.

The interesting thing about the photo for me is this question: Is Zephyr poking around a water bowl? It looks like it and if so it would be entirely in keeping with this cat's character.

The wildcat ancestor of this cat is the Asian leopard cat and they spend a lot of time hunting prey in and near water courses where prey is more abundant. Makes sense.

By the way it is false to think that cats don't like water. Some cats don't but in general they are fine with it and many or most like it.
