Feline IBD and a Raw Diet

Feline IBD and a Raw Diet

Please click on the above link to go to a full page about curing, yes curing, feline irritable bowel disease by feeding a cat suffering from it with a raw meat diet together with added supplements.

The theory behind this form of elegant and natural treatment for a disease which is often simply managed through drugs is that some commercial cat foods contain ingredients which irritate the bowel causing an allergic reaction which inflames the intestinal tract. Fluid is produced in the intestine and there is also malabsorption of the food resulting in diarrhoea and when the problem affects the stomach the cat will also vomit.  These are the 2 symptoms of feline irritable bowel syndrome (IBD). Natural food eliminates the cause: the artificially introduced substances in commercial cat food.
