Long haired Siamese cats are sometimes referred to as Balinese cats. They have a fantastic plumed tail and close lying smooth long hair. These long haired cats bear no resemblance to the classic long haired cats such as the Persian or medium long haired Maine Coon. The Maine Coon has shaggy hair in complete contrast to the Balinese.
